Hempel House
The design goal for the Hempel house was to create a quiet elegance with updated traditional furnishings and a sophisticated color palette of cream, amber, and silver-blue.
In the living room, the focal point is the custom paneled fireplace flanked by modern chests and original art. An antique bronze clock centered between vases with cherry blossoms adorns the mantel and frames the contemporary gold spoke mirror. The overall design of the living room sets the tone for the rest of the home’s decor.
The master retreat is the epitome of luxury. A custom upholstered velvet bed is layered with silk bedding and plush pillows. Mirrored chests provide a touch of glamour to the room. The same level of decor extends into the master bathroom that is just as opulent, but functional. The custom vanities are consoles that were converted to accommodate plumbing and marble tops. A polished nickel bar cart was used to display towels, soaps, fresh-cut flowers and other bath accessories placed between the tub and walk-in shower.
In addition to the interior, our designs extended to the outdoor living area, including; pool design, waterfall feature design, outdoor fireplace, and kitchen.
Throughout the home, inside and out, each living area is a collaboration of thoughtful design, practicality and luxury furnishings that has a grand feel without being pretentious. This is the essence of quiet elegance.
